why is it that every baby product we have received from our registry seems to be re-packaged? i’m i just a snob, or why do all of the goods seemed “used” and scratched/thrown in a box and taped up? as a new father at 35 years of age…i feel more comfortable making a trade on the internet than assembling a device that i swear contains missing parts…has to be…surely not my add acting up again. can some enterprising baby brand please step up and make something worthy of the price…both in appearance and assembly????

I bought the swing after looking at a bunch others at my local store as well as amazon website. First the pros, its a gorgeous swing, really beautiful to look at. the materials r fabolous, the colors r soothing. pretty easy to assemble except the buckle situation with the seat legs, i was one of the unlucky ones who got the leg wrong and as soon as i did it i remembered that i read ppl discussing that here. i tried to remove the warning label with a nail polish remover, it was smudging it and had to really scrub in order to get it clean. anyways after trying almost for half a day, i was able to get the leg out, the trick is to get a narrow screw driver in from the back at the point where the legs click into the center piece and move the screw driver to a 45 degree angle slowly till the parts click out. u dont have to apply any force(which i was previously). the music is pretty nice.
now the cons, i think for this price, it should have additional features. the mobile doesn’t rotate, my son looks at it but gets bored pretty soon, i’ve to rotate it by hand to get his attention.
the two positions that the seat has dont have that much of a difference, i think it should have another more upright setting.
the seat is removable which is very convenient but i would have loved if it had some bouncer like features in itself as well like vibration and or music. i’ve an apartment and i bought it so that it would eliminate the need for a bouncer but it does not.
overall, i like it because of its aesthetic qualities but it lacks quite a few practical details.

The swing seems to be well-built but my baby didn’t seem to like it very much. We bought this as a replacement for the older Ocean wonder version from Fisher Price. I think my baby prefers the support in the plastic seat base more than the hammock seat on this swing which sort of makes her slump into the fabric. She also got bored with the mobile very quikcly because it didn’t spin or stimulate with lights ans dound like the other swing’s. But given this is just the opinion of my fussy princess, I think the swing is well made overall.

I have to admit, what drew me to the collection was the style, colors and look of all of their pieces. The swing, however I had my doubts about just because it seemed so big and bulky. After putting it together, which was not hard at all, I placed my 4 month old in it and he snuggled right in. He hasn’t liked many of the other swings I have tried, but this one nestled him close and seemed to offer comfort.
Having new music, was a comfort to me, as all the other swings play the same o same o tunes. I am on my third lil boy and they were becoming quite redundant. I also thought at first the very simplistic mobile which hangs above his head wouldn’t be enough to capture his attention, boy was I wrong. He is captivated by the mobile which moves only from the swings movement.
Another handy feature is the plug in, no need for continual replacement of batteries! I haven’t had to use them yet!
Overall I would highly recommend this product, looks, functionality, and the ability to occupy my child without driving me nuts with repetitive annoying songs wins me over.

I just put the swing together. My music is not working while it is plugged in. I have not tried batteries yet. Does the swing need batteries to make the music work?
Looks good so far. I wish there was a little more suppost in the base. It is just a fabric sling support. We’ll see how baby likes it! Love the way it looks anyway!
